About

Phil is a Vermonter through and through, having grown up in northern Vermont and then earning a degree in Forestry from the University of Vermont. He first cared for trees in the Boston area in 2002, and since joining BTSE has developed our plant health care program. His favorite tree is a Sugar Maple, and because he grew up somewhere near Canada, his favorite thing to eat is maple syrup. On the weekends he can be found coaching soccer, making maple syrup, or spending time at the family farm.
